www.markettrendsignal.com - Trend following is an investment strategy that tries to take advantage of long-term, medium-term, and short-term moves that occur in various markets and stocks. The strategy aims to take advantage of a market trend on both sides, going long (buying) or short (selling) in a market in an attempt to profit from the ups and downs of the stock market. Traders who use this approach can use current market price calculation to determine the general direction of the market and to generate trade signals. Traders who subscribe to a trend following strategy do not aim to forecast or predict specific price levels; they initiate a trade when a trend appears to have started, and exit the trade once the trend appears to have ended.

Facebook went public last week. The lawsuit was filed in US District Court in Manhattan on Wednesday, according to a law firm for the plaintiffs. A day earlier, a similar lawsuit by a different investor was filed in a California state court, according to a law firm involved in that case. In the New York case, shareholders said research analysts at several underwriters had lowered their business forecasts for Facebook during the IPO process, but that these changes were "selectively disclosed by defendants to certain preferred investors" rather than to the public generally. "The value of Facebook common stock has declined substantially and plaintiffs and the class have sustained damages as a result," the complaint said.
